Overview

What better way to celebrate 4th of July than a hu-RAH U-S-A U-S-A U-S-A big time Stars and Stripes movie?! It’s been a long time since I last saw this and it is some corny ass shit. But there’s no denying that Michael Bay can shoot the hell out of the big screen spectacle. This looks so good in UHD and those VFX look amazing. Crazy how much better these FX look than most movies today *cough* The Flash *cough* really blown away with how well the CGI blends with actual location shooting. It is amusing that they use the same street section in downtown LA over and over.

John Turturro as Agent Simmons is fun but completely disappears at the end. So weird. He also has one of the worst lines when he calls Mikaela “training bra” like dude did you even look at her? There is so much cringe in this movie but the good outweighs the bad and I love Bumblebee.

Oh yeah my boy Tyrese Gibson is here so I’m just considering this a F&F sidequel right after the events of 2 Fast, Roman joins the army and gets stationed in Qatar. Tyrese is doing the same character!
