Viewing Notes

Happy Birthday, Donnie Yen!

Fun revisit of his first feature film. Well worn premise even by 1984 with the drunken master bit and learning a new style to defeat his enemy but still quite entertaining and a terrific final fight. Also as noted before the breakdance scene is excellent. Neat to see babyface Donnie Yen showing off his skills right out of the gate.

Still amazed that B-Fest screened this movie. The PQ and audio is piss poor on Tubi. Really wish this one got a nice remastered release in its original language.
