Viewing Notes

What a treat to see this on the big screen. Much more impactful and impressive. The new restoration looks amazing. I didn’t get a chance to speak w/Jason afterwards as he was busy chatting with a small crowd but I was going to confirm that this is the same DCP that screened in NYC. Wasn’t a huge crowd but a decent showing but I was more pleased that it was dead silent in that auditorium for what’s largely a very quiet film. That made me very happy to make the trip in addition to seeing this big. Would love to read a critical analysis of this movie.
