Four high school friends meet up in an abandoned house to play ‘Backstabbed’, a game of murder with headphones and plastic weapons. Meanwhile, a serial killer is leaving a trail of blood on his way to the house, and soon the game of murder becomes much more than make-believe.

Came so close to guessing this one! Got the directer correct choosing his other slasher film from the 90s. The hint:
“90s Euro-slasher with a unique tech angle”
This is confusing as all hell bc the game they play has this crazy rules. But I like the thriller aspect of it once it gets going.

I’ve never even heard of this movie! Bummed I missed the three movies for an average DFF film. But commitments are commitments I suppose.
