Tenth movie of the annual TRR NYE marathon and my seventh overall. This has interesting premise and looks amazing esp for a 1981 film (would’ve never guessed this was released in 1981). But too many plot points and the convoluted story plus the 2hr runtime do it no favors. I was falling asleep bc it drags. I may enjoy more on its own outside of the marathon and with less sleepy eyes.

I watched this ages ago and thought about sticking around for it last night, but I did remember it as long and slow, so opted out. I’m kind of shocked that this is available on Blu-ray but then I saw it’s Kino Lorber which makes sense.
