Overview
Once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a dying Midwestern town. The company’s exodus left the city a wasteland…with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, the townspeople are forever…changed…and a small group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night.

Viewing Notes
Viewing Color Out of Space had me wanting to revisit this one bc it’s a decent looking UHD and has a good sound mix (love the sound design). Was a good test for this player and last time I spun this disc it wouldn’t play the second to last chapter. But on this player it played uninterrupted all the way thru! Guess I’m keeping this player and can end the tests. Now I’m thinking my old Sony 4K player has seen better days.
Anyways this movie has grown on me and now I really dig it. Has good pacing, FX and sound. Story is fine but I really like Kaya (initially I thought she was wrong for the part). Might put this one in my annual rotation. Now I really want a sequel which isn’t likely at this point.
