Viewing Notes
A case where my impression of the movie has dropped given my glowing notes on my previous log entry (apparently I missed another log of this bc I know I watched it again on Fandor as both movies have been on the service and remain there).
Compared to the first film I found this to be lacking as it plods along until the big showdown finale. On my first viewing my opinion was the reverse. So wild to see that change. Anyways, as of this revisit I’m not as keen on this sequel. Let’s revisit again in 10 years and see if my opinion changes again!
Obtw I looked and looked for a Blu release of this over the past couple of years and could find none. After seeing the crummy transfer on the Blu for the first film I just bought the dvd for this. Used ofc and since it arrived today I gave it a spin and it’s fine. Total barebones.
