In the Edo period, at the remote village of Okitsu, the evil cult leader Koushirou uses ninjutsu to bewitch sharks and forces them to attack local pearl divers so the cult can steal the pearls from their mangled corpses. Desperate for help, the village chief hires Kotaro Shiozaki, a guard at a nearby temple, but Kotaro soon finds his path blocked by lady ninja Kikuma and a gigantic shark that doesn’t seem like something from this world.

My kind of dumb. Need to get the Blu to view this properly and perhaps suggest for movie night. Probably a good paring with Alien vs Ninja. Kanon Miyahara is a kunoichi in this and has a much better character than Asura Girl which I watched earlier. Total badass.
The movie was put on YT by media blasters to promote the release but they censored some of the violence like blurred out things like a decapitated head but other things were fine. For some scenes like a character covered in blood they placed a promo card indicating that the scene would be sensitive to viewers. So weird bc they’d show other scenes full of blood. Anyways yeah I want to own this silly movie.
