Overview
Ten years ago, in order to snatch the mysterious treasure left by Dashing King Li Zicheng, the wicked designed a decisive battle between the hero Miao Renfeng and the treasure guardian Hu. Hu and Miao died tragically, but the treasure map disappeared. In ten years, they have never given up the search for treasure. Finally, the treasure map reappeared, and the eight evil men gathered together and set off to Feihu Mountain.

Viewing Notes
On this viewing in the Secret Cinema I enjoyed this movie even more not just bc we could hear the booming score, which was excellent, but having active, working subtitles made a huge difference in understanding the entirety of the plot. The DVD doesn’t look bad but still would love a nice HD Blu-ray.
