Viewing Notes

For Memorial Day today DKUTV is running a bunch of Mifune war movies, all of which I’ve seen but one (Attack Squadron, which I own on DVD). Attack Squadron was showing when I turned on the channel so I let it run in the background until this film started which I did want to watch again since it’s been a few years.

Still a Very Good Movie and perfect for Memorial Day bc it’s about paying tribute and respect to those soldiers who died in the war. And I like the movie bc it’s not about the war but rather the soldiers that go back to get the hidden gold.

This is definitely one that should get a proper release here. Mifune is great and everyone around him is putting in the work.
