A tad convoluted and slides sideways after a p good first half. Was hoping it was gonna go full giallo but nope. Decent production values for Miike so good for him just wish it had more of his auteurism given the material. That Nanao is something else wowza 😍
Reminded me of KILLERS, different story but similar vibe, which I haven’t seen since that crummy viewing at Wizard World. So I found the Blu-ray for cheap on eBay. Looking forward to revisiting that one.
