Viewing Notes

My new favorite Steven Seagal movie. I last viewed this sometime in the nineties or possibly early 00s when I had my Blockbuster daily rental deal and was watching 2 VHS tapes a day. Forgot nearly all of it except for his beret (why did he even have that??) and the dog.

This is a total Seagal tour de force where he is firing on all cylinders, where he shows he can act. He embodies this role and I cannot believe he didn’t make 2 or 3 sequels with this excellent character. He’s perfect as the italian cop still mixed up w/the mafia and families in his borough. I have to own this one.
