Viewing Notes

After viewing the Bing Crosby Christmas show I kinda wanted to revisit this movie, which is super Christmas. I love the VistaColor pop; this is what holiday movie should look like. Not crazy about the entire film filmed on sound stages. I realize this was just the way for big Hollywood movies but it all looks so fake all the time.

Nevertheless the performances are great even if everyone is a little too old for these characters. Forgot that this starts as a war movie and continues that theme to the very end.

Wow I watched this exactly ten years ago in a movie theater. Yeah I was due for a revisit!
