Really needed a feel good movie after 7 hours of crushing disappointment today. Babyface Tony Jaa is such a specimen. Just amazing to watch. Probably didn’t realize it on release but wow this movie is so influenced by Jackie Chan’s classics. Super fun to watch now (I don’t think I’ve logged this since we started logging movies religiously).
So they just slapped the dvd transfer on the Blu-ray and called it a day. Jfc is this the shittiest transfer I’ve seen on BD? No 4K UHD to be found. How hasn’t this movie not gotten the treatment?

Hilarious I’ve only got the original viewing logged bc I tracked this back in The day. We used to watch this ALL THE TIME. Was a movie night selection in Batavia too.

TIL that the original Thai version w/the original score was only released in Australia on a 2 DVD set from Madman and long OOP. I cannot believe that none of the boutique labels around the world has jumped on this title for a much needed upgrade.
