Viewing Notes

I like this one bc it has a nostalgic quality due to the setting at a circus (my father was real big into the circus and circus culture). If I owned a rep theater I’d program this right before Nightmare Alley (either version).

I like that Chan has his entire family, all 14 kids, with him at the circus and that Luke Keye, his number one son, is still a horn dog. The little people smoking cigars is great, too. George Brasno was the midget who appeared in similar roles during his career and he’s great as the tiny person.
