Fung and Pan, two policewomen, are assigned to protect a gangster’s mistress turned police informant. Her lover orders her assassination, but the attempt fails. In a desperate bid to prevent her going to court, he threatens to kill Pan’s stepfather. Pan has no choice but to leave the police force in order to protect her family and seek her revenge.

Ron wrote the same note running thru my head during most of the runtime: did Godfrey Ho really direct this? This is way more competent than a lot of his output. If he did direct this, then props to him because this is a lights out tour-de-force of the buddy cop duo featuring Sharon Yeung and Moon Lee. Just amazing to watch these two fight together and against each other. When Moon (her character name, ofc) shows up looking like Chow Yun-Fat to support Lisa’s vendetta, I cheered.
Elliot Ngok looking all paunchy and nearly unrecognizable is fun as the big bad. Wish Michiko was given more to do bc she’s always great. I hope one of these labels does a great restoration and release for this movie. It deserves it.
