Overview

Teenagers in a small town are dropping like flies, apparently in the grip of mass hysteria causing their suicides. A cop’s daughter, Nancy Thompson, traces the cause to child molester Fred Krueger, who was burned alive by angry parents many years before. Krueger has now come back in the dreams of his killers’ children, claiming their lives as his revenge. Nancy and her boyfriend, Glen, must devise a plan to lure the monster out of the realm of nightmares and into the real world…

Viewing Notes

The irony of fighting sleepiness while watching this movie! So. Fn. Tired. Reminded me of being at Fantastic Fest.

Big screen bucket list movie!

Hard to believe I’ve never seen this movie on the big screen before now but have seen 2 thru 5 in theater.

Chose Flatirons bc Promenade was nearly full. So crazy how many people go to that multiplex over Flatirons. Plenty of open seats in the big screen 7, my first time in that cinema.

Some noisy shitheads came in late and sat at the opposite end of my row. But they were so loud I kept looking over at them and the mountain of concessions they brought in. Eventually they quieted down but wow they were real assholes.

Oh the movie! New 4K looks very nice still retaining the grain yet crispier, which is nice bc this movie has always had a murky look.
