This is Movielogr’s official 31 days of horror list for the month of October, 2014. To make this as inclusive and accessible as possible, all of the movies on this list are available on Netflix Instant. Even if you’re traveling or away from home, as long as you’ve got a Netflix account and an internet connection you can still follow along.
With the exception of three classic horror films, the movies on this list represent the best in recent horror in my opinion. The list kicks off with Ti West’s unnerving The Sacrament and ends with his modern classic The House of the Devil. In between is a wide range of horror: from the hilarious and gory Tucker and Dale Vs Evil to the deeply unsettling Mexican film Here Comes The Devil.
