Technically yesterday’s MoiveLogr 31 Days of Horror watch, but catching up. I still remember my mom taking me to see this in the theater for my birthday with a group of my friends. The image of Donald Sutherland screaming at the end has been forever seared into my brain. I think I actually prefer the original but this is a great example of how you can do a remake well.

Also, this was the first time I’ve watched this and recognized Robert Duvall as a priest on a swing near the beginning of the movie. Such a weird little cameo!
