Overview
Lured by the promise of an Australian holiday, backpackers Rutger, Katarina and Paul visit the notorious Wolf Creek Crater. Their dream Outback adventure soon becomes a horrific reality when they encounter the site’s most infamous local, the last man any traveller to the region ever wants to meet—Mick Taylor. As the backpackers flee, Mick pursues them on an epic white knuckled rampage across hostile wasteland.

I have mixed feelings on this one. On the one hand, it’s not nearly as good as the original; on the other it does have some nasty stuff in it that still manages to surprise.

I dig the cat & mouse stuff up front but that final third really drags it down.

I really liked the first portion with the German campers leading to the man in the jeep and that entire sequence until the house with the old couple. After that it’s pretty downhill for me.
