Viewing Notes

Massive cast and lots of plot intrigue before the final series of battles at the end. TBH, I was expecting more but there are still some fun scenes like when the Black Hurricane catches a saber thrown at him in his mouth!

David Chiang gets plenty of screen time but not nearly as much in terms of action scenes.

This movie makes Chang Cheh my most watched director, unseating Alfred Hitchcock. At least until I dive back into Hitchcock’s early silent films after Kino Lorber releases them on Blu.
