A quiet, melancholic ode to the death of the cinema-going experience; powerful in it’s observational stillness. Not sure why I took so long to watch this considering the director’s WHAT TIME IS IT THERE? is one of my favorite films.
It’s a shame this isn’t on Blu-ray.

I love this movie and think about it often since seeing it earlier this year. A restored/updated Blu would do wonders for this.

I think only one of his films is currently available on Blu, at least in the states. Maddening.
