GOD DAMN. Completely my shit. The violence is visceral and unsettling. Both Andrea Riseorough and Christopher Abbott shine with outstanding roles.
This was only playing this weekend at the only open Alamo here in the Denver area, Sloan’s Lake, so Tonia and I made the trek to see the last show tonight. Tonia’s first film in a theater since the pandemic started.

So the movie opened there this weekend and is closing this weekend? That’s really bizarre. It’s running thru the week at Emagine here but they’re only open Thu-Sun, which makes sense.

Yeah Alamo is only open Thu-Sun as well, and they had no screenings of it for next weekend.
I assume AMC isn’t playing it because it’s unrated.
