Kinda hilarious to watch this immediately after the right wing christian NEFARIOUS which both deal with being possessed by a demon, though one’s meant for religious indoctrination and the other is for entertainment.
Crowe seems like he had fun making this for whatever reason, as he all but winks at the camera. Him dressed as a priest and riding a moped is never not gonna be funny. There’s probably a better movie in the material but I gotta say I enjoyed it for what it is.

When I saw you were there for that double feature I had to find out the theater so I could step in and wave hi LOL
Haven’t logged yet but same reaction; there’s so little to add to these stories as it’s all the same thing, demonic possession, blah blah but having Crowe do whatever he was doing made it much more interesting. Just needed more of him riding his moped around w/that amusing 80s soundtrack.

I know this is based on a real life person and his books, but they really could have done so much more with the back story to make this a lot more interesting.
But hey, Franco Nero and Russell Crowe on a moped so…
