Also known as WARRIOR WOMEN and ISLAND WARRIORS and probably half a dozen other titles, this is a goofy Taiwanese film from the early ‘80s pitting an island of Amazons against a group of male pirates looking to steal the hidden treasure. There’s also an adjacent island of men who are the surviving male orphans that the Amazons set afloat in the sea to enforce their strict female children only rule. How anyone is having any children without any men present is anyone’s guess.

Despite this not being great, I’d still watch a nicely restored print in its original language with proper subtitles because I’m a sucker for trash.
