Nothing to write home about but also a pretty serviceable action thriller. The digital effects aren’t top quality but they also don’t distract much from the film. This continues the trend of setting action movies within a larger natural disaster and I have to say, I approve! I think this is one of three films Herman Yau released last year, but the only one I could actually find on physical media, and one of the two that didn’t play in theaters here in Denver (that I could find anyway).

Better than Moscow Mission? I love that one so I’m looking forward to seeing this.

I’d say that I enjoyed MOSCOW MISSION more but this is certainly watchable. It’d make a fun movie night movie as well.
