Kicking off the 12th annual (my second) Panic Fest in Kansas City with a 40th anniversary screening of this. Joe Bob Briggs was supposed to be here to introduce the film and do stuff after but he got sick so Darcy still came, and Joe Lynch substituted in. Joe Bob still did a recorded intro which felt like watching the Last Drive-In anyway, so all good. This was fun to watch with a crowd of mostly people who’d never seen it before. LIKE WHAT?! But yeah.

So did you still need to buy a separate ticket? And wasn’t it soldout? Cool that Darcy still made the trip.

Yeah, still had to buy tickets. Apparently some people refunded theirs once it was announced Joe Bob wasn’t making it, so we were able to get in. Still totally worth it.
