Viewing Notes

Finally cracked open my Blu and for good reason: my JCVD project. I wanted to revisit all the UniSol flicks for this ending on the most recent installment that I missed at Fantastic Fest 2012. Couple things on this revisit: completely forgot that this was a Roland Emmerich flick. Maybe I never knew? Either way this is easily one of his best. Second, this holds up extremely well, more so than the subsequent films. And it’s a horror film.

I also think that these two actors have rarely been better. Blu looks great. Def a movie I will revisit again and again.

Wow, I had no clue this was directed by Roland Emmerich. Kinda stunned by that actually.

Same here. Even more so after this rewatch b/c it’s a pretty damn good and dark flick. Wish Emmerich had stuck to more of these kinds of movies rather than going all disaster.
