Viewing Notes

I wanted to see this is the in theater but never felt motivated based on the poor WOM. Yeah, this isn’t a good movie but I will say that that I am glad I didn’t see this in theater because this kind of supernatural impregnation horror freaks my shit. Nothing original here but I suppose the spin is that it’s a found footage flick. The spin is that newlyweds would video record everything it this should make sense.

The problem is when several other recordings are introduced when the film loses that cred. Actually they could’ve gone without and still made a decent flick because the scares are there. Sadly it never reaches the heights of all the other films it lifts then the multi-camera device really dumps the whole thing. I do like Allison Miller, who doesn’t look a day over 18 (she’s 27 in this movie).

I have this on my list and will still probably watch it despite the negative reviews because horror involving children and pregnant mothers is creepy no matter what!

It’s worth the watch for sure just set your expectations going into it. This could’ve been a better movie had they approached the found footage POV a little smarter. Not as terrible as I was led to believe but still lacking overall.

I’ll probably grab it from RedBox. Cheapest way to see it.
