Probably 10 years or more since I’ve seen this and been wanting to revisit. Saw the Dragon Dynasty Blu on the shelf at my library and couldn’t resist. Forgot how deliberately slow paced this is building up towards that rumble with all the remaining Venoms.

Compared to other films of its ilk I like the unconventional story of all the Venoms tracking each other down each with their own agenda. This is not a straight ahead fighting flick and probably why it’s more heralded among others from its time. Of course it’s influenced so many films and pop culture which also elevates its cult status.

I’d love to see this on the big screen some day.
