Seventh movie at The Massacre and another 16mm print. The reason so many 16mm prints were used this year is because the Portage Theater no longer has a 35mm projector. It does still have a 16mm projector so Rusty went out of his way to find a few 16mm prints for the line-up this year. Was definitely appreciated.
Gotta say I wasn’t excited when I saw this added to the schedule. However, viewing this print with the packed crowd definitely changed my attitude. Much better experience seeing this in a theater. It becomes that much more creepy. The cheers when John Saxon first appears also made it worth it. The end still frustrates me a bit but this is a really cool flick.
