The Fei Long Society, under the administration of chiefs Lung Lin, Pei Fen, Chen Ying-Chieh and Lung’s sister Lung Chu, enjoys high prestige. One day a swordsman, Hung Wei, comes to join them. Hung later gets admitted after impressing the other chiefs with his fine fighting ability. The society’s sub-branches soon come under the attack of the Black Tiger Gang. The chiefs of Fei Long Society head off to the branches in an attempt to save the situation. In their absence, the Society’s stronghold falls to Hung’s hands. Chen and Lung are attacked by Hung and his men. Lung swears to bring Chen back to justice…

Basic “betrayal from within” storyline. “Thunderbolt” refers to a the thunderbolt palm technique that this one bad dude has and total whips Angela Mao on their first encounter.
Another movie that is like watching mud when blown up on HDTV. Problem is the subs are hardcoded and very hard to view on a smaller screen. Total Jay problem. I’d buy the DVD if available.

It’s the nature of YouTube unfortunately. And sadly that’s becoming one the only ways to view a lot of these old kung fu movies OOP on other formats.

Better to watch them on a tablet instead maybe? Admittedly I haven’t watched many full length movies on YouTube in the last few years.

Yeah I need to fire up my iPad. I dusted it off and charged it up for this but haven’t given it a go yet. I found it unwieldy in the past but I’ll try it again since I’m doing more and more of this.
