Viewing Notes

From the director of RARE EXPORTS.

Super goofy but very entertaining. More of an action-thriller for kids yet aimed for adults. I’m tired of seeing Sam Jackson in movies but he’s okay here in a more subdued performance playing second fiddle to Onni Tommila. I hope that kid continues to get work because he’s great. Jim Broadbent is pretty fun as usual.

Lacks the cleverness of Rare Exports and relies on a lot impossible setpieces but still a neat ride. Glad this is getting a limited release. Definitely looks great on the big screen with some nice cinematography of Finland.

Worth seeking out if you can find it in your area. Only one screen in all of Chicago (S.Barrington as usual). Good flick for the kids for sure.

Never saw it play anywhere around here but rented the Blu at Redbox. Fun movie but not as good as Rare Exports. Your comments are pretty spot on.

Fun but forgettable. Look forward to what he does next.
