Only in four theaters in all of Chicago so doing a $6 Tuesday to grab it before it leaves. Note: 4 people walked out about half way into this (old white people).
This movie really did a number on me. One of the best films of the year.
A day later and I’m still thinking about this movie. Man, what a mindfuck. Still enamored w/the beauty of it being shot on 35mm, which captures a warmth that is juxtaposed with the callousness of the characters. Adds the unsettling nature of the story and general tension that threads through the story.
I’m considering starting my favorites / top 25 list now so I can include this.
