Inventor Goro Ibuki creates a humanoid robot named Jet Jaguar. It is soon seized by an undersea race of people called the Seatopians. Using Jet Jaguar as a guide, the Seatopians send Megalon as vengeance for the nuclear tests that have devastated their society.

Watched the first two episodes of Godzilla Singular Point so of course I wanted to revisit this one. I’ve noted this before but other than the brief glimpse of G during the intro, he doesn’t appear until the 49 minute mark. Even then it’s just bc JJ greets him at Monster Island to convince G to fight Megalon.
It’s like all these ppl that bitch about G not getting much screentime in these new movies have never watched the OG films. Anyways, JJ is still boss and it’s great to see the new version of JJ in Godzilla SP.
