when I visited my family in ABQ I brought a book for my niece Hannah: Godzilla vs. Kong: Sometimes Friends Fight. It’s perfect for her age and I had to read most of it to her as she did the counting herself. But she had lots of questions about both Godzilla and King Kong. Surprisingly she was already familiar with Kong but not with Godzilla. So I asked her if she wanted to watch a Godzilla movie. I chose this one bc it has such a fun battle scene between three kaiju and Jet Jaguar.
Fortunately Archive.org has most of these movies in the dubbed version. We were staying at the track all weekend so we just cuddled up on my cot and Jay, my nephew, came in and watched with us. I had to answer a lot of questions but it was good bc both of them were super into the monsters and story. This really is an ideal intro to Godzilla. Afterwards they asked to see more movies! I love this!
