By tuning into Cinephobe.tv today during the HVAC repair I discovered this gem during the evening programming. The description here via TMDb doesn’t give away most of the story which is a good thing! Another bonus is that it features my favorite non-Toho actress from this period, Yumiko Nogawa. Always love seeing her onscreen and she is tremendous in this. Since Cinephobe programmed this I’m guessing a file must exist out there as I’m already sure there’s no home media release outside of Japan. Would be another great title for a special release or possibly a collection like Daiei Studios Outlaw Sixties (similar to the Criterion Release). Daiei produced the Daimajin, Gamera and Zatoichi films of the sixties so it wouldn’t be out the realm for Arrow to produce a set featuring other films from this studio.
