One thing about Vohrer‘s take on the Wallace stories is he definitely adds a sprinkle of humor. Maybe it’s in the text but haven’t read any of Wallace’s books (I’d like to). This one is the closest to a Hammer Horror in its look, story and characters. Guessing there was some back and forth influence occurring at the time.

I’m really surprised one of the boutique labels hasn’t dived into releasing these movies. It seems like a perfect match for VS or Severin in particular.

I’m surprised as well. Severin would be a good fit domestically. Indicator or Eureka across the pond would be ideal. There’s so many titles, too, so that could be part of issue.
