Overview
A year after a supermoon’s light activated a dormant gene, transforming humans into bloodthirsty werewolves and causing nearly a billion deaths, the nightmare resurfaces as the supermoon rises again. Two scientists attempt to stop the mutation but fail and must now struggle to reach one of their family homes.

I give it props for going practical FX on the werewolves but I wasn’t crazy about the design most of the time. A lot times it looks dopey… occasionally it looks cool. But this story… wow. Frank Grillo is a top 10 actor for me (of current working actors) but this one doesn’t work, sadly.
But I do still love how they just take Grillo as is and throw him in a movie, “what you see is what you get.” Same character, different movie. A little surprised of the *four* new movies I’ve seen him in this year, this is one that gets a theatrical release (I know the reason).

I was gonna go see this tonight but then Tonia wanted to go too, so we opted for Y2K instead. I’m not hearing good things though.
