Viewing Notes

Kicking off my Year of the Chiba with this one, which is so nice to own and looks very good on the Shout Factory tokusatsu release. It did bring up my irritation on my previous viewing from seeing the low ratings out there for a fun early JP sci-fi film. So my previous notes still stand.

I do love how on the nose this movie is from a post-war into Cold War context. And ofc babyface Sonny Chiba is a delight as Iron Sharp.
