Viewing Notes

A five dollar matinee at AMC Westminster since we got home late last night from our mini-vacation. Not terrible but obviously chopped up and the movie ended about 2/3 of the way through, which was confusing.

And frankly, I’m tired of constant reboot origin stories. I don’t think we need to see another FF movie let alone another FF movie that tells us all how they came about.

Like I commented, I honestly thought that at the end of the movie it was really the end of Act 2. Was shocked when the credits rolled.

Not sure why there’s such an obligation or obsession towards the origin story for reboots especially those that happen so close to the most recent film. It would be refreshing for a new superhero film, reboot or not, to abandon that track and just get on with it.

My hope would be that F4 falls back to Marvel and they use them more like they just exist in that world. Not as a feature film.

Agreed! I just want the story arc to move beyond Dr. Doom and their origins and just explore them as characters. They have such a rich history in comics there’s plenty to draw from.

Since Marvel is introducing Adam Warlock it would be perfect timing to get F4 over to Marvel Studios. If they could get Spiderman back anything’s possible!
