Viewing Notes

Great aerial combat photography and stunt work, combined with some really good miniatures work makes the combat scenes in this early talkie a lot of fun. Harlow is gorgeous but I was disappointed her story didn’t really go anywhere by the end.

Funny that this film, clocking in at 2 hours and 9 minutes, had a 10 minute intermission after having just watched Scorsese’s 3 hour 29 minute epic THE IRISHMAN the night before.

I really wish they’d bring the intermission back for some of these longer films. Wouldn’t mind hearing an overture or two, as well.

That would be great! I really don’t see any downside either. Theaters should love it because people will buy more food and drink.

Great point about concessions! Hadn’t thought of that but yeah seems like a no-brainer.
