Viewing Notes

A first rate political thriller with excellent performances from Fiennes, Tucci, Lithgow and Rossellini, who at one point has a hard stare that would cause almost any man to crumble into a whimpering pile. This did not go where I thought it might go and all the better for it. I’ve not read the book but I might pick it up.

Myself and one other person in the theater. Once again, how does this place stay in business?! I’ve now watched eight films at this AMC since I’ve been here and every one has been in a different theater; 10 more to go. I won’t have time before I leave to see 10 more movies here but hopefully each one I do see before I leave is in a different theater!

I heard a funny review of the Conclave film - the gist was that Ralph Fiennes plays a bothered HR administrator.  :)

No, thankfully people here have been pretty respectful in the theater, with the exception of the one guy in Tumbbad who thought it was ok to take a call during the movie, and then an usher came in and yelled at him, which was awesome.

That review isn’t far from the truth!
