The sequel to The Heroic Trio is… not nearly as good or as fun. Still a decent watch but lacking in most areas that make the first film so good. It feels more or less like an obligation by the principles to simply make a film. Too bad.

Is your DVD widescreen with subs? Because if so, I need to borrow this!

yes and yes… sorta. The Heroic Trio is a Tai Seng DVD and the Executioners is Universe DVD, both HK releases and both in widescreen w/original language and subtitles. However, they are boxed into a 4x3 frame or maybe slightly wider than that but you know the presentation. If you have a zoom feature, it can be manipulated to better fit a 16x9 screen. You’re more than welcome to test them out to see how they look.
