Outstanding performances by Nicolas Cage and Tye Sheridan. I’m not crazy about these southern fried pot boilers but I love seeing actors elevate their game. Worth viewing for those two. Excited to see where Sheridan goes. Such a great young talent.

Sheridan was great in Mud as well. I’d say he’s got a good career ahead of him.

Agreed. If he stays on track he should have a great career. He really is that good and rather astonishing considering his age. Makes me wanna revisit Tree of Life as well.

I wasn’t big on it at the time but it is a gorgeous film. Things I really like about it (period that reminds me of my childhood) and things I don’t like. Def one to see regardless.
