Viewing Notes

Turned on DKUTV to have running while I update my Pocketpedia and they were broadcasting the Japanese language version of this all time favorite so of course I just watched this instead. Who am I to refuse an opportunity to see the way better JP version which isn’t available here.

Guess the first day of the year really is all comfort movies so far. I’m cool with that. Don’t think I’ve mentioned it before but it’s really cool that Toho gave Hideyo Amamoto a meaty role in a major production when he was usually relegated to bit parts and small supporting roles. He’s so great as Dr. Who!
